Littles

An orphan needlepoint block given to me by my mother in law has finally been made into a pillow.
And after I won this cowl from Kristen's blog, I bought the book Crochet Boutique by Rachel Oglesby.  She has created some beautiful accessories that are simple in design, but have big impact.  This head wrap is going to my sister for her birthday.
It's Friday here!  Enjoy the weekend wherever you are!

  1. You created a beautiful pillow, how nice that you used that pretty stitchery.
The new headband looks nice, and I bet your sister will love it.

  3. I always think it's a shame when you look in charity shops and see something such as your stitched panel that someone has spent hours completing only for it to sit in the shop incomplete and lost. Well done you for making your mother-in-law's panel into a useful object. I am sure your sister will love her head wrap. Perfect for autumn days. Talking of which, I love your new photo header. Wonderfully seasonal. Philippa xx
