Snapdragon quilt

Yesterday I went out to the nursery and bought some fall flowers for the front porch.
Snapdragons!   Don't you just love these colors?
My last summer blanket is done.  The colors remind me of the snapdragons.

I'm having a quiet day.  It's 100 degrees outside and I don't want to go anywhere.  The dogs are lying in a heap with their tongues hanging out.  Me too.
See you when it's cooler : )

  1. That is lovely. When we were in Scotland I always used to show the kids how the Snapdragons 'roar', but I'm not sure I've seen any since being in Australia...
One of these days I will get a sewing machine and make my own quilt. I'll be sure to pop back for inspiration!
    Have a lovely weekend,

  2. Oh my word! 100 degrees! I don't believe we have ever reached that temperature in England! Mind you, it must feel uncomfortable.
Anyway, what a fabulous quilt. I have decided that I need to learn how to do this thing, quilt making looks so much fun and the results are brilliant.
    Stay cool, Mrs!
