That brings us to the winner of the fall give away...........
Phillipa of Wendy Room Creations!!!! You have requested the fabric fat quarters. Congratulations!
I hope you see this post, as I have no email to contact you. Please send me your address and I will get your prize off to you right away.
Thank you all for joining in. There were some great comments about why you love fall, and I agree with all of them!
This week I am planning an 18th birthday party for my son, and finishing up some VERY OLD projects. I pulled this quilt from the back of the cupboard and started quilting.(I think I have tried to get this done for fall two years in a row.)
And I dragged out this basket of wool grannies which will be turned into a very pretty blanket.
Thank you all for stopping by today. I'm off to refill my coffee cup and go visit all of your lovely blogs!!!
I love the idea of fall decorations. We dibt have anything like that over here. X
ReplyDeleteOh Lynne ~ what a lovely post! I love all your Fall pretties. And the smell of pumpkin is definitely in the air at my house. I live just a few blocks away from the Libby's pumpkin canning factory! It's fun to watch the truckloads roll in. The whole town is permeated with the sweet Fall fragrance. Tomorrow I am going to bake a pumpkin cake with cinnamon glaze for my Knit Night girls. Wish you could join us...
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Oh isn't it grand! I am sipping my coffee now, with Pumpkin creamer in it! Mmmmm! I love your quilt as you go project. I did a carrot table runner for Easter that was a quilt as you go, and I loved it!

Kris
Oh my! Look at all those granny squares! I have a bunch of yarn myself that I need to get through before the holidays. I'm thinking Christmas Gifts!!! Best to start now!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner!
ReplyDeleteI love your WIPs. Your quilt WIP is so pretty! Love the afghan squares, too. I miss the pumpkin everything in the US, but my daughter has found a shop in Dublin that sells Libby's pumpkin so the kids are all eagerly anticipating some pumpkin baked goods. Yum-o!
Enjoy your week!
Oh I love the quilt as you go....can't wait to see more. Pumpkin flavored everything at Starbucks is a GOOD thing :)
ReplyDeleteI like your tabletop decorating.
ReplyDeleteOh I love all your Fall decorations. I'm thinking of making a Fall/Autumn wreath. Not something usually seen in the UK. Your quilt looks really pretty. Why do some projects seem to take so long? I'm terrible for starting something and then giving up part way though. Have a lovely week.

What a beautiful post. I wait for the pumpkin at Starbucks every year. Love your decorations and quilts.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful decorations. I am so happy that Fall has finally arrived. Our nights are cooler too, just wish the days would cool off as well.

Look at all those gorgeous projects you have on the go! They look amazing. We don't have the same sort of seasonal celebrations that you have and I'm a bit envious! I have always been fascinated with the whole seasonal thing and specific celebrations in the US, Halloween, Thanksgiving etc. Nothing here is pumpkin flavoured other than pumpkin that is. And most of the time it seems we only have two seasons, winter and summer! I am thinking that this year I might have to have a go at making a pumpkin pie just for the fun of it - something I've read about forever and have never tried.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Phillipa ...lucky you!
ReplyDeleteWow Lynne....love that quilt you have on the wall...impressive!
keep well
Amanda :-)
Yay for Fall!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteYour creations are fabulous.
I recognize those crocheted blocks!!! =) I haven't visited your blog in a long time, Trish ... you've been prolific in finishing projects. xoxoxo
